Vessel formed in 2019 as a way to bring innovative, intimate and entertaining pop-up events to the Perth scene.

We use found and unusual spaces to create unique experiences for our audiences, in the form of cabaret, live music and storytelling. 

Influenced and inspired by the models of some of the most successful independent / fringe theatres in the world, our aim is to bring audience-focussed, relevant and innovative work to Perth, while breaking down some of the barriers that has made art less accessible to potential audiences in the past. 

Affordable ticketing is a central part of that strategy to encourage young audiences to take chances on new works with our accessible price point. Along with our Emerging Artist programme, this is part of our aim to welcome in the next generation of storytellers, musicians and cabaret artists.
